Riyadh - Mubasher: Mufid Company announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding between one of its branches, Taqeez for Audiovisual Media Production (Evox), and the Seema platform owned by the Saudi Broadcasting Corporation.
Mofeed explained, in a statement on the “Tadawul” website today, Monday, that the signing of the memorandum of understanding took place during the activities of the Saudi Media Forum; with the aim of enabling Taqeez Company for Audiovisual Media Production (Evox) to access its content through the “Sima” platform, which is concerned with preserving and investing in media and television materials.
The company added that the memorandum of understanding is for a period of 3 years, and this agreement is a qualitative step towards building an integrated digital media system, as it will provide new horizons for investing in the Saudi media archive and converting it into digital content that can be used in innovative and sustainable ways.
Mofeed pointed out that the financial impact resulting from this issue will be announced in due course.
The MoU was signed during the Saudi Media Forum, which is a prominent gathering of decision-makers and experts in the media field. The sessions and workshops discuss the most prominent digital trends, future challenges and investment opportunities in the media sector, which opens the way for more strategic partnerships to support the digital transformation in the media scene.
It is worth noting that the “Sima” platform is a digital platform that enables all parties to manage and display their media content in high quality, whether through visual or audio materials or historical archives, which ensures the protection of intellectual property rights and enhances the benefit from media content.
