Dubai, United Arab Emirates – Trip.com Group recently announced a new alliance with Saudi Arabian Airlines, combining its leading digital expertise with Saudia’s premium services and extensive network. It also signed a memorandum of understanding with PAN Group, one of Saudi Arabia’s leading hospitality groups.

This move comes as Tripadvisor continues to build on its growth momentum in the Middle East through a series of strategic initiatives. It follows the distinguished partnership it signed with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi during the group's global conference in December 2024.

Additionally, Trip.com revealed a new strategic partnership with flynas, aiming to integrate its flight offerings across the group's multi-brand platforms. This collaboration seeks to strengthen flynas' presence and expand its reach in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. These partnerships reflect Trip.com's commitment to providing integrated travel experiences powered by modern technology, and to strengthening the Middle East's position as a major global hub for the travel and tourism sector.

The group also signed a three-year memorandum of understanding with Visit Oman , the national travel operator, to offer a diverse range of Omani travel experiences from local service providers and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across its global platforms.

“The Middle East offers exceptional growth opportunities and is a pivotal link between Europe, Africa, and Asia. Facilitated visa policies, expanding direct flight networks, and increased tourism investments have accelerated the region’s recovery,” said Jane Sun, CEO of Trip.com Group. “With changing consumer trends and our continued focus on commercial and technological innovation, we continue to work with our partners in the region to attract travelers from around the world and contribute to building a more connected and prosperous future.”

These initiatives come amid growing positive trends in the Middle East travel market. According to data from Trip.com Group, inbound travel bookings to the region grew by 37.5% during the first quarter of 2025 compared to the fourth quarter of 2024, with Dubai topping the list of most attractive destinations for travelers. Millennials constitute approximately 60% of all inbound travelers, reflecting the growing demand for wellness experiences and culturally rich trips. Expanding aviation infrastructure, the launch of new hotel projects, and the hosting of major events such as Expo 2030 in Riyadh are also contributing to this momentum. Trip.com is supporting this growth through its advanced technology solutions, including AI-powered personalization and easy multilingual booking capabilities, enhancing its ability to capture the growing global interest in Middle Eastern destinations.
