Doha University of Science and Technology recently opened the Central Analysis Laboratory equipped with the latest analytical machines. This laboratory, a new addition to the College of Engineering and Technology, aims to meet the chemical testing requirements of various industries and researchers.
The Central Analysis Laboratory serves many diverse sectors and fields, including energy, environment, food and beverages, construction, and agriculture, according to the highest quality standards. The laboratory offers a range of laboratory solutions, including chromatography, elemental and molecular spectroscopy, testing of various chemical substances and elements, and construction-related testing. Custom analysis requests are handled according to strict protocols and international standards such as ASTM, ISO, and EPA.
To facilitate access to analytical laboratory services, the university follows an electronic system that ensures that customers are informed of the status of their requests and the samples being analyzed throughout the process. After completing the analysis, customers are asked to provide feedback about the service, enabling the laboratory team to continually improve the quality and efficiency of the work.
