United Arab Emirates, Dubai: The Dubai Mall has announced that it has achieved a record number of visitors in 2023, with a total of 105 million visitors, surpassing the previous record of 88 million visitors the previous year, an impressive increase of over 19%. The mall’s latest statistics indicate that it attracted nearly 20 million visitors in the first two months of the current year alone, which indicates the possibility of breaking new records in 2024. These statistics clearly reflect The Dubai Mall’s position as a global tourist hub that attracts visitors from all over the world, coupled with sales figures that reached remarkable levels during the year.

“These figures are a testament to the prestigious status of The Dubai Mall and reflect the approach of the wise leadership and the strong economy of the city of Dubai. This mall is an embodiment of the city’s vitality and dedication to excellence, as it transforms the leadership’s vision into a tangible reality. We are an integral part of the economic structure of Dubai, and we play an active role in enhancing the city’s success and development,” said Mohammed Alabbar.

“The great diversity of nationalities of the mall’s visitors not only demonstrates its global appeal, but also highlights Dubai’s rich and diverse cultural mix,” Al Abbar added.

It is worth noting that the events and promotional campaigns held by Dubai Mall in 2023 and early 2024 were the main reason behind attracting this amazing number of visitors, as well as holidays, occasions, and important international celebrations. In addition to major popular events such as the Dubai Shopping Festival, the Dubai Food Festival, and the event that everyone is waiting for, three days of major sales, which are considered events that attract large numbers of visitors and shoppers.

Last year and the beginning of this year, Dubai Mall also witnessed a remarkable increase in the number of its followers on social media platforms, as the number of its followers on Instagram rose to 1.3 million followers.

Furthermore, Dubai Mall’s commitment to the highest standards of customer service is evident in its customer satisfaction rating of 4.6, which was recorded as a result of monitoring the feedback and experience of thousands of customers.

Taking shopping to the next level

In 2023, The Dubai Mall redefined luxury shopping through its Shopper Relationship programme, which collaborated with luxury brands to create immersive shopping experiences. The mall attracted thousands of shoppers who were dazzled by the end-of-year window displays presented by luxury houses such as Cartier, Carolina Herrera and Dior, not to mention the Ramadan art installations by prestigious names such as Fendi and Chloé, which were also well-received.
