Amna Assem

The board of directors of Saudi Marble Design Factory Company, which is listed on the parallel market of the Saudi Stock Exchange “Nomu”, has agreed to move to the main market “TASI”, according to its statement sent to the stock exchange on Tuesday.

Nomu is a parallel market that allows small and medium-sized companies to offer and list their shares with fewer requirements than the main market. It also allows companies traded in it to move to the main market after two years after complying with the conditions of this market, with the exception of market value.

The Nomu market officially began in February 2017, at which time only initial public offerings were allowed, and then direct listings were officially allowed in February 2019.

According to the statement, the company decided to appoint Financial Business Sustainability Company as a financial advisor for the purpose of moving from the parallel market to the main market, as the move is subject to market approval and conditional on the company meeting all requirements.
