Bank of Qatar, listed on the Qatar Stock Exchange, announced the completion of the acquisition of the entire issued capital of Amedeo Air Four Plus (AA4+), an aircraft leasing company, to expand its investments in this sector, according to the bank's disclosure to the stock exchange this week.

Lsha Bank was established in 2008 and began operations in 2009. It was formerly known as Qatar First Bank before rebranding to Lsha Bank in 2022 and has been listed on the Qatar Stock Exchange since 2016. It also has a presence in Saudi Arabia and Ireland through two subsidiaries.

The bank offers Sharia-compliant banking services, asset management, and aviation services through a subsidiary, Lesha Aviation Capital, which operates in aircraft leasing and manages assets worth $1.5 billion, including 15 aircraft leased to an airline in the GCC region.

Amadeo Air4Plus, founded in 2015 and registered and incorporated in the British Crown Dependency of Guernsey, listed its shares on the London Stock Exchange that same year. It owns 12 aircraft which it leases to Emirates and Thai Airways.

- Bank of Lishan acquired 100% of the issued capital of Amadeo Air4Plus through its newly established subsidiary, LAC 10.

- The deal was executed at a price of 73 pence per share, reflecting a total equity value of approximately £190 million.

- Amadeo Air4Plus shares have been delisted from the London Stock Exchange.
