Dubai-based Advanced Infection Rituals AIR, a flavored tobacco and shisha company, intends to implement its merger and listing plan on the US Nasdaq stock exchange during the first half of this year, despite the geopolitical volatility in the Middle East region, according to a statement on its official website at the end of last week.

AIR and Cantor Equity Partners III, a Nasdaq-listed special purpose acquisition company, announced last year that they had signed a definitive business merger agreement.

This agreement, upon completion, is expected to result in the combined company, AIR Global, being listed on the Nasdaq stock exchange in the United States of America under the symbol "AIIR".

The extraordinary general meeting of CAEP shareholders to approve the merger is scheduled to be held on May 12, 2026.

The transaction is expected to be completed during the second quarter of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary conditions.
