A tripartite cooperation protocol between Americana Restaurants Egypt, Misr El Kheir and (AHK Egypt) to support students of Ahmed Hamed Taalab Hotel School

Cairo: Americana Restaurants Egypt and Misr El Kheir Foundation announced the signing of a tripartite cooperation protocol with the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK Egypt), making AHK Egypt the international academic partner of the "Martyr Ahmed Hamed Taalab" Hotel School for Applied Technology. The collaboration aims to support and train the school's students by developing the technical education system and linking it to the actual needs of the labor market, thus equipping students with advanced practical skills that enhance their readiness to compete at both the local and regional levels.

The agreement was signed by Mr. Mohamed Hassan, Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of Americana Restaurants Egypt; Dr. Saber Hassan, Head of Education at Misr El Kheir Foundation; and Ms. Maren Dialle Schilschmidt, Executive Director of the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce. The three-year agreement will train between 70 and 100 students annually. Upon passing the qualifying exams, participants will receive German-recognized certificates that qualify them academically and practically to work in the hospitality sector both locally and internationally, enhancing their career opportunities and development prospects.

Commenting on the signing of the cooperation protocol, Mr. Ayman El-Araby, Chief Human Resources Officer of Americana Restaurants Egypt, stated: “This agreement represents a strategic step to support technical education in Egypt and reflects the company’s commitment to empowering and qualifying young people according to the requirements of the labor market, especially in the rapidly growing hospitality sector. He added that investing in technical education is a direct investment in Egypt’s future, as it is one of the fundamental pillars for achieving sustainable economic growth based on qualified and competitive personnel.”

Dr. Saber Hassan, Head of the Education Sector at Misr El Kheir Foundation, explained: "This partnership is a successful model for integrating the efforts of civil society organizations with the private sector and international entities, aiming to prepare a generation of globally qualified technicians and contribute to driving economic development in Egypt, in line with the state's vision to enhance professional competence and entrepreneurship." He added, "Through this protocol, we seek to transform technical schools into incubators of professional excellence, producing a generation of qualified technicians with skills that meet the standards of the Fourth Industrial Revolution in the services sector."

For her part, Marin Dialle Schilschmidt, Executive Director of the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce, expressed her pride in the cooperation, stressing the Chamber’s commitment to transferring German expertise in the dual education system to the Egyptian education system, in order to ensure the application of the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

She explained that the accreditation of German certificates gives students a competitive advantage and wider opportunities to work in prestigious international institutions, and contributes to raising the level of tourism and hotel services in the region.

The agreement reflects a shared vision for building an integrated educational system that combines academic study with practical training, ensuring students are qualified to manage and operate hospitality establishments according to the highest international standards. This step is part of Americana Restaurants Egypt's strategy to align technical education with actual market needs and support Egypt's Vision 2030 by empowering youth and enhancing professional skills and entrepreneurship.
