Dubai, UAE : As part of expanding its strategy to integrate Agentic AI across all its units, Mohammed Omar Bin Haider Holding Group ( MOBH ) announced the launch of "Sophia AI ," described as the region's first AI-powered human resources manager.

Expanding AI integration across the group

Commenting on this launch, Vice Chairman of the Board, Professor Rashid Mohammed Omar Bin Haider, stated: “It is not about replacing humans, but about reshaping how work is done. We are accelerating the integration of artificial intelligence across multiple sectors and departments within the group, with a vision to support up to 30% of selected operational processes with generative AI in key functions such as finance, public relations, security, digital media and social media, and customer relations, in addition to other sectors including education, hospitality, smart booking platforms, maritime services, non-profit business, entertainment, real estate and engineering .

We will also be introducing additional AI-powered entities and operational functions across these departments and sectors in the near future. Furthermore, we are developing a clear career development roadmap through which 'Sophia AI ' will evolve to assume broader responsibilities, supported by additional automated systems operating under her supervision. This represents a structural and forward-looking workforce transformation.

A new era of smart human resource coordination

"Sophia AI " is now fully integrated into the group's human resources system, which is a transformative step in how human resources operates, as it has contributed to the development of traditional support functions and workforce coordination, and thus to supporting decision-making based on artificial intelligence in real time.

As an Agentic AI HR Manager, "Sophia AI " plays a hands-on role in core HR processes, including workforce planning, AI work management, recruitment, training support, document governance, performance tracking, and internal communications, in addition to her responsibility for CV recruitment and candidate screening, working alongside specialists to accurately and quickly identify the most suitable talent.

Sophia AI is designed to work seamlessly with human oversight, enhancing accuracy, consistency, and responsiveness across all HR activities.
