CairoEdex , one of the largest engineering and contracting companies in the region, announced the signing of an agreement with Swiss company MEDLOG , a leading global company in the logistics sector and part of the MSC Group, to implement the dry port project in the city of 10th of Ramadan, in a step that represents a qualitative addition to the logistics infrastructure system in Egypt.

The project, spanning approximately 189,000 square meters , is being implemented using a design-build (design & build) model, encompassing engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) works. These works include site preparation, paving, road planning, and the implementation of essential utilities, along with the development of the infrastructure necessary for port operations. Upon completion, the project is expected to contribute to modernizing the regional logistics network , enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting sustainable economic growth.

The Tenth of Ramadan Dry Port is a significant step towards enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of Egypt's transport and logistics sector, aligning with the Ministry of Transport's strategy to establish an integrated network of dry ports and logistics zones nationwide. The project also represents MEDLOG 's first investment in the Egyptian market , reflecting the confidence of global entities in the growth opportunities offered by Egypt's logistics sector.
