"Sharjah Sustainable City 2"
The Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) showcased the “Sharjah Sustainable City 2” project, which is an extension of the success achieved by “Sharjah Sustainable City 1” in the Al Rahmaniya area, as the first sustainable residential complex in the emirate. The project adopts the “townhouse” style and is based on the pillars of economic, social and environmental sustainability, reflecting an integrated vision for developing sustainable urban communities that support quality of life and take into account the balance between man and the environment. The project offers a full exemption from service charges for three years after handover, and relies mainly on solar energy to supply the residential units with electricity, in addition to supporting the concept of sustainable mobility within the city.
Nature is the focus of the residential experience
Arada Real Estate Development also showcased the “Masar 3” project, which reflects an advanced approach to sustainability through a community design that integrates nature into the heart of the residential experience. The project focuses on enhancing the quality of life through the density of green spaces, walking and cycling paths, and reducing reliance on vehicles within neighborhoods. It also supports healthy lifestyles and takes into account the efficient use of resources, thus achieving a balance between urban development and environmental preservation. It keeps pace with the Emirate of Sharjah’s directions towards long-term sustainable communities and enhances environmental awareness and social responsibility in the details of the daily lives of future residents.
The most beautiful place
Ali Al Najjar, Sales Manager at "Ajmal Makan" in Sharjah, said that "Ajmal Makan" is a natural marine project that reflects an advanced trend in developing communities in harmony with the environment. He explained that one of the most important elements of sustainability in projects is the quality of water and its natural renewal. The project's location in Al Hamriya is characterized by the highest rates of water circulation in the UAE, which provides a healthy and sustainable residential environment. The "Ajmal Makan" project is based on the concept of natural sustainability without relying on generators, turbines, or industrial systems, which maintains the natural environmental balance of the site and reduces costly technical interventions. He indicated that this approach not only contributes to protecting the environment, but also reduces operating and maintenance costs, which alleviates the financial burden on property owners and achieves a balanced equation that combines preserving the environment and enhancing the economic feasibility of the project .
