Abu Dhabi, UAE Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, will be rolling out its “Destinations” collection of amenity kits in Business Class cabins across its network this summer. Featuring 14 designs, each inspired by a stunning destination within the Etihad network, the collection includes a new range of skincare products from Laneige, designed to enhance the in-flight passenger experience.

The "Destinations" collection: Inspired by the world

Designed to celebrate the breadth and diversity of the airline’s network, the “Destinations” collection is inspired by destinations across the global network, transforming a practical and essential onboard item into a cherished memento. Building on the success of Etihad Airways’ “Cup” collection, offered to premium First Class guests, each cup is designed to represent an Etihad Airways destination. These cups are randomly distributed to First Class passengers, and the designs are regularly updated, creating a unique keepsake that reflects the UAE heritage the airline is proud of.

On this occasion, Eric Dee, Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer of Etihad Airways, said : “This new collection of amenity kits reflects everything Etihad Airways stands for: distinctive design, a strong sense of belonging, and an exceptional hospitality experience. We go beyond the ordinary to offer a personalized, carefully curated, and thoughtfully designed experience for our Business Class guests, celebrating our global destinations and partnering with Laneage to enhance our guests’ comfort onboard. Each kit is a precious memento inspired by the places we fly to, and it will remain meaningful even after your journey has ended.”

He added: “This is an exciting step for Etihad Airways, as designing personal amenities for Business Class allows us to empower exceptional talent across all departments of our company, giving them the opportunity to be creative. The result is a collection that reflects the authentic spirit of Etihad Airways, designed by our team from start to finish.”

The collection offers two distinct types of luggage: the large suitcase and the slim suitcase. Each type is available in seven colors, each representing a different city within Etihad Airways' growing network. The suitcases feature the destination's name and geographical landmarks embossed on their exterior, along with a decorative zipper, a designer lining featuring artwork inspired by the city it represents, and a serial number (from 1 to 7) that identifies its unique design within the collection.

The initial collection will include seven exciting cities from Etihad Airways’ network, including destinations launched in 2025 such as Krabi, Addis Ababa and Atlanta, as well as Calgary, which will launch in October 2026. As the collection expands annually, new cities and artworks will be added gradually.

The Abu Dhabi edition (#1) represents the heart of the collection, paying homage to Etihad Airways' home and its rich Emirati heritage. Its design, which incorporates the Zayed National Museum, embodies the spirit of ambition and progress that inspires the company's journey.

Each trip will be equipped with a variety of colors and destinations, ensuring guests experience a different design on each trip, encouraging bag acquisition, and making each trip unique.

Each bag includes Etihad Airways' signature comfort amenities, such as an eye mask, earplugs, and dental care kit, as well as an enhanced skincare experience.

Lanage on board Etihad Airways

Etihad Airways has announced a partnership with Laneige, one of the world’s leading Korean beauty brands, to offer a selection of skincare products for its Business Class guests. Etihad Airways is the first airline to collaborate with this brand, renowned for its innovative skincare experiences, and the only airline to offer Laneige products onboard to its premium guests.

This collaboration is part of Etihad Airways' efforts to create a holistic, health-focused environment for travelers, under its Etihad Wellbeing Initiative. This initiative has led to the launch of the "Quiet Cabin" and thoughtful changes to its onboard services, including food, products, the environment, and more.

Based on a philosophy that combines curiosity and science, Laneige offers long-standing Korean expertise in skincare, with clinically proven formulas designed to restore skin hydration and provide comfort while traveling.

For his part, Bilkyung Choi, President of the Laneige brand, commented on the matter, saying: “We are extremely proud to be the first Korean cosmetics brand to collaborate with Etihad Airways, the world’s leading airline. Guests will enjoy a selection of popular Laneige products:

  • Laneige Water Sleeping Mask, enriched with hyaluronic acid and squalane to hydrate and refresh the skin
  • Laneige's sleeping lip mask provides deep hydration thanks to cranberry extract, murumuru seed extract, and shea butter.
  • Hand cream, with a highly moisturizing formula that restores softness and relieves dryness.

This collection as a whole ensures that guests arrive at their destination feeling refreshed, radiant, and hydrated.
