Riyadh, Saudi Arabia   Elsewedy Electric Power Systems Projects is currently implementing a portfolio of six high-voltage power conversion stations in various regions of the Kingdom, with voltages ranging between 110 and 115 kilovolts, as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting and strengthening the power transmission and conversion sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia .

The implementation of these projects comes in cooperation with the Saudi Electricity Company and the National Grid Company, along with leading global partners in the manufacture of electrical equipment, such as Hitachi Power and Siemens Energy, reflecting the strength of the strategic partnerships on which the company relies in implementing its projects .

These projects contribute to enhancing the reliability and efficiency of electricity networks, and supporting the continuity of electricity supplies, in order to meet the growing energy needs in various regions of the Kingdom .

These projects reflect a wide geographical spread covering a number of the most vital regions in the Kingdom, which enhances the position of Elsewedy Electric Power Systems Projects Company as a reliable strategic partner in developing the infrastructure of the energy sector, and a major supporter of the expansion and modernization of the electrical grid at the Kingdom level .

The locations of these stations are distributed between the western region, through the “Jewel of the Bride” and “Naqwa” stations, and the “Riyadh Station”, in addition to the eastern region in Dammam, which includes the “Al-Nasiriyah”, “Al-Khaleej-2” and “Al-Fayha” stations, reflecting a balanced presence that supports meeting the increasing demand for energy throughout the Kingdom .

Elsewedy Electric Power Systems Projects combines global technical partnerships with advanced execution capabilities, enabling it to deliver complex infrastructure projects with high efficiency and to the highest quality standards . It is worth mentioning that the company is currently working on implementing the Rabigh 1 power plant expansion project, which comes within an agreement signed between the Saudi Electricity Company and the Saudi Power Procurement Company (SPPC). The scope of work includes engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning works, in addition to conducting performance tests and verifying the efficiency of the plant’s operation in its entirety, including support systems, electrical works, measurement and control systems, as well as civil and marine works .
