This year’s celebrations extend across six diverse destinations, combining waterfronts, natural islands, and the vastness of the desert. These include Al Noor Island, Sharjah Boat Project, Mleiha National Park, and Al Montazah Gardens, in a single experience that reflects Sharjah’s diversity and uniqueness, and opens up wide spaces for families and visitors to welcome the New Year in integrated festive scenes.
Fireworks displays at three major destinations
New Year's celebrations will take place on Wednesday evening, December 31, 2025, at 8:00 PM, culminating at midnight with a fireworks display illuminating the Sharjah sky as part of free events open to the public, starting at 8:00 PM.
At Al Majaz Waterfront overlooking Khalid Lagoon, visitors experience a festive atmosphere that combines captivating fireworks displays, dancing fountains, and live entertainment, along with the dining experience offered by more than 20 local and international restaurants and cafes in one location.
As for Al Heera Beach, which extends over a distance of 3.5 kilometers, it offers a festive family experience on the waterfront, in which fireworks displays are integrated with entertainment shows and open atmospheres, in addition to the opportunity to visit 18 restaurants and cafes that provide a luxurious dining experience along the beach, and cater to different tastes.
In the eastern region, along a 3.5-kilometer stretch of coastline, Khor Fakkan celebrates the New Year amidst a stunning natural landscape where the beach meets the mountains. A spectacular fireworks display accompanies a variety of entertainment, and visitors can enjoy a selection of 22 restaurants and cafes overlooking the sea, offering a unique experience that blends natural beauty with a festive atmosphere. A trip to Khor Fakkan is considered one of the most enjoyable excursions for travelers to appreciate the natural beauty of the UAE, traversing mountainous tunnels, plains, and valleys.
