United Arab Emirates – Dubai, Emirates Health Services Corporation continues to develop an integrated healthcare model that combines specialization, prevention and digital integration across its facilities in Dubai, including Kuwait Hospital – Dubai, Union Health Center and Dubai Specialty Dental Center, reflecting a qualitative shift in the provision of health services, supported by rapid growth in demand and customer confidence. The number of visits in these three facilities reached about 62,000 visits during 2025, an increase of more than 44 % compared to 2022, while the customer satisfaction rate with their journey according to the “Customer Pulse” indicator reached 98%, indicating the efficiency of the system and the integration of its components .
These indicators and results were highlighted during a field visit by His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Salim Al Olama, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Health Services Corporation , accompanied by His Excellency Dr. Yousef Mohammed Al Serkal, Director General of the Corporation , and His Excellency Dr. Essam Al Zarouni, Executive Director of the Medical Services Sector at the Corporation .
His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Salim Al-Ulama affirmed that this growth reflects the institution’s success in reshaping the healthcare delivery model to be more integrated and responsive to the needs of society, through increasing specialized services within hospitals and primary care centers alike, and linking them to an advanced preventive system, which contributes to improving the quality of life, promoting community health, and reducing the need for transfers between levels of care .
Specialized fields drive growth and enhance service efficiency.
The expansion of specialized services is one of the most prominent drivers of this growth, as the specialized clinics at Kuwait Hospital - Dubai received more than 37,000 visits during 2025, an increase of 69% compared to 2022, supported by the provision of advanced specialized services, including a center of excellence for diabetes treatment, in addition to the hospital being classified as a reference center in the field of ENT, where delicate and complex operations are performed, including cochlear implantation and eardrum cleaning and repair operations, using modern and advanced technologies, most notably plasma technology, which contributes to reducing pain and bleeding, accelerating recovery and improving treatment outcomes .
The hospital has also developed an integrated model for obesity surgeries that allows all medical assessments to be completed within a single visit of two to three hours, through multidisciplinary teams that include various medical fields, and linking these visits to a unified electronic medical record that allows for an accurate and immediate review of the health condition, which enhances the efficiency of coordination and the quality of medical decision .
In the context of enhancing specialized services, the Dubai Specialty Dental Center continues to consolidate its position as one of the leading reference centers in providing dental services. The center offers an integrated system that includes 9 major dental specialties, including orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics and periodontal surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics and oral surgery, in addition to developing innovative services that include providing home dental care, as well as enhancing digital services by providing a dental scanner and converting a number of procedures to a digital format, which enhances the efficiency of service delivery .
The center recently underwent comprehensive maintenance and modernization in accordance with international accreditation standards and using sustainable materials. It also received Canadian Diamond accreditation and was qualified to offer a dental excellence program. All of this reflects the institution's commitment to expanding access to specialized services according to the highest global standards .
Primary care…expansion of specialties and strengthening of prevention
At the primary healthcare level, the Foundation’s centers offer an advanced model that combines comprehensiveness and specialization. The Union Health Center provides about 20 services, including 10 digital services, covering all age groups and both genders. These include family medicine, child health, adolescent health, and school health, in addition to specialized dental services, including orthodontics, as well as mental health services, general radiology, urgent care, and others .

Kuwait Hospital – Dubai continues to consolidate its position as an advanced center for healthcare and scientific research, having achieved remarkable accomplishments including the publication of 113 scientific research papers and 49 scientific papers, in addition to achieving the highest rate of the “Hirsch” factor, which measures the impact of scientific publication, and its contribution to training university students and interns, within the framework of supporting the building of national competencies and enhancing integration between education and health practice .
International accreditations and awards reflect institutional excellence
Kuwait Hospital – Dubai’s acquisition of a wide range of international accreditations reflects its commitment to the highest quality standards, including HIMSS accreditation, HACCP accreditation in food safety, ISO certification in quality, sustainability, information security, business continuity and risk management, CARF accreditation in rehabilitation, and CCPC accreditation for type 2 diabetes .
The hospital has also won prestigious regional awards, including the Arab Hospitals Federation Diamond Award for Patient Safety in 2024, and the Gold Award for Patient-Centered Care and Community Engagement in 2025 for the "Patient's Voice in the Year of the Community" project, reflecting its commitment to promoting stakeholder engagement in the development of health services .

His Excellency also recommended continuing the expansion of specialized and highly effective services, enhancing integration between primary care and hospitals, and accelerating the adoption of digital solutions and artificial intelligence to improve the proactive nature of healthcare services and raise the quality of life . He emphasized that the next phase will witness an accelerated shift in focus from "quality of services" to "leading the healthcare experience," through innovative models that place the patient at the heart of the system and redefine healthcare concepts on more comprehensive and sustainable foundations .
