Muscat: In a qualitative step that reflects its commitment to supporting leadership thinking and promoting a culture of innovation, Al Maha Petroleum Products Marketing Company launched the inaugural edition of the “Thinking Out Loud – Ideas Series” forum, on April 7, 2026, at the Intercity Hotel - Muscat, with the participation of a select group of leaders, decision-makers, entrepreneurs and academics for a day of constructive dialogue and inspiration.
The forum, held under the theme "Beyond Ambition: A Growth Mindset," served as a leading dialogue platform aimed at anticipating the future of corporate leadership, enhancing organizational resilience, and enabling organizations to keep pace with the rapidly changing business environment.
Engineer Hamad bin Salem Al Maghdari, CEO of Al Maha Petroleum Products Company, emphasized the importance of creating interactive spaces that bring together various sectors, contributing to the exchange of visions and driving sustainable growth. The forum sessions were moderated by Ms. Rumaitha Al Busaidi, Vice President of the Environment Society of Oman, who highlighted the role of conscious leadership that integrates sustainability, innovation, and long-term strategic thinking .
The forum featured a series of inspiring presentations by prominent speakers from various sectors, including His Highness Dr. Faris bin Turki Al Said, Assistant Professor in the Marketing Department at the College of Economics and Political Science at Sultan Qaboos University, and Director of the Promotional Identity Management Office for the Sultanate of Oman, who addressed the importance of employing national identity principles in achieving institutional growth, along with Sheikh Mohammed bin Sulaiman Al Harthy, CEO of Al Harthy Investment Company, who reviewed food security strategies in light of current geopolitical challenges.
Dr. Hatem bin Bakheet Al Shanfari, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Academy of Management, offered insightful perspectives on sustainable economic growth. Ms. Ibtisam Al Khaifiya, founder and CEO of Simat for Human Development, shared her entrepreneurial expertise through a practical presentation on the entrepreneurial mindset. Dr. Yousef bin Hamad Al Balushi, founder of the Smart Gateway for Investment and Consulting, outlined the features of "New Oman," while artist Safiya Al Bahlaniya concluded the sessions with an inspiring presentation on transforming challenges into opportunities for success.
The “Thinking Out Loud” forum concluded by emphasizing that conscious leadership and constructive cooperation are the cornerstones for building resilient institutions capable of achieving sustainable growth, in a clear embodiment of Al Maha Company’s vision to support a renewed business environment that keeps pace with the lofty vision of Oman 2040.
