Zawya - Press Releases: "Industrial Facilities Visits Program" is a unique initiative from the Ajman Chamber to support government procurement from the emirate's factories.

As part of its ongoing efforts to empower national industry and build effective cooperation between the public and private sectors, the Ajman Chamber announced the launch of a program of visits to industrial facilities in cooperation with the Ajman Department of Finance and the Ajman Transport Authority.

The initiative aims to enhance the integration of government agencies with national factories, and to inform government agencies about the advanced level that industrial products in Ajman have reached in terms of quality, efficiency and innovation. The initiative also seeks to highlight the advanced production capabilities of national factories in a way that enhances their competitiveness and supports increasing their adoption within the government procurement system. The initiative also provides a direct opportunity for procurement specialists to learn about the quality and excellence standards adopted by industrial establishments, and the extent to which they are compatible with government requirements and standards.

The Chamber began its program with a visit to the “Al Rahi Foodstuffs” factory, where the delegation included Jamila Al Nuaimi, Director of Member Relations and Support, and Abdullah Abdul Mohsen Al Nuaimi, Director of Government Communication at the Ajman Chamber, as well as procurement officials from government agencies in the Emirate of Ajman.

The government delegation was briefed on the production lines, technologies used, and product quality. Opportunities for direct cooperation with government agencies and ways to enhance the presence of the factory’s products within the government procurement system were also discussed.

Jamila Al Nuaimi confirmed that the launch of the industrial facilities visits program of the Ajman Chamber aims to implement a series of direct visits to leading national factories in the emirate, with the goal of supporting them and raising their competitiveness in the local market, and enabling them to enhance the presence of their products within the government procurement system.

Abdullah Al Nuaimi said that the visits program is in line with the objectives of “Made in the UAE”, as it is a national strategic initiative aimed at strengthening the industrial sector and increasing its contribution to the national economy, by supporting local factories and expanding opportunities for their products to reach government agencies. He stressed that the program provides a dynamic platform that enables national factories to showcase their production capabilities and build direct partnerships that enhance their competitiveness in the local market.
