He explained that the postponed draws, which numbered more than 60 draws with a total value exceeding 5 million Kuwaiti dinars, were conducted over 5 working days during the period from 1-7 April 2026, including the announcement of three winners of one million Kuwaiti dinars each in the Grand Al Jawhara draws for the months of: May 2025, September 2025, and January 2026.

Al Watani confirmed that customers’ chances during the period of postponing the draws remained fully preserved, without any impact on their chances of winning, noting that it had appointed an additional office, Grant Thornton, to audit and supervise the draw operations, regardless of the value of the prize, in addition to continuing with the global company Deloitte to monitor the draws and ensure the application of the highest levels of transparency and integrity standards.

He stated that as part of developing the mechanism of the Al Jawhara and Al Jawhara Junior draws program – the largest draw program in Kuwait – any winning customer will not enter any future draw for a period of no less than 90 working days from the date of winning, indicating that if the value of the single prize or group of prizes won by the customer is equal to or exceeds 50,000 Kuwaiti dinars, he will not enter any other draws for a year from the date of the last win, to ensure fair opportunities for all customers.

Upcoming draws

As part of its ongoing commitment to the highest standards of transparency, the National Bank of Kuwait confirmed that the upcoming Al Jawhara and Al Jawhara Junior draws will be announced on the second Tuesday of each month, inviting customers to follow the bank’s official channels to learn about the details and related updates through live coverage .

On this occasion, Mr. Hisham Al-Nisf, Head of Personal Banking at the National Bank of Kuwait, said: “The completion of all the postponed Al-Jawhara and Al-Jawhara Junior draws according to a clear and transparent timetable reflects the National Bank of Kuwait’s full commitment to fulfilling its responsibilities towards its customers, and its constant keenness to apply the highest standards of integrity and transparency. We were keen to implement these draws with the utmost fairness, and in a way that ensures the protection of customers’ rights and the full preservation of their chances of winning during the postponement period.”

It is worth mentioning that the total value of the Al Jawhara account draw prizes is 5 million Kuwaiti dinars annually, as the value of the weekly prize is 20,000 Kuwaiti dinars, the monthly prize is 125,000 Kuwaiti dinars, while the value of the grand prize is one million Kuwaiti dinars, and its draws are held three times a year .

As for the Al Jawhara Junior draws, which are dedicated to customers under the age of 21, there is a monthly draw for 7 cash prizes (1000 Kuwaiti dinars for three winners, and 500 Kuwaiti dinars for four winners), in addition to one winner with a cash prize of 10,000 Kuwaiti dinars with each Al Jawhara Grand Prize draw.
