The Department of Nursing at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at Arabian Gulf University has signed an academic and professional cooperation agreement with Johns Hopkins University, with the aim of promoting international cooperation and developing education, training and scientific research in the field of nursing sciences.

The agreement aims to open new horizons for cooperation in the areas of academic development, capacity building, clinical training, and continuing education, in addition to exchanging experiences and knowledge in modern nursing practices according to the latest international standards.

For her part, Dr. Hawazen Omar Al-Rawas, Head of the Nursing Department at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at Arabian Gulf University, explained that this agreement comes within the university’s direction towards strengthening its international partnerships with leading global academic institutions, which will positively impact the quality of education and training, and contribute to preparing qualified nursing staff capable of keeping pace with the rapid developments in the health sector.
