Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates - His Excellency Major General Ahmed Saif bin Zaitoun Al Muhairi, Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police and Chairman of the Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Team for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, embodied the Emirate's approach of continuous field monitoring of the health response by visiting those affected by the Iranian attacks, accompanied by His Excellency Matar Saeed Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Center for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, His Excellency Dr. Rashid Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Public Health Center, Dr. Marwan Al Kaabi, CEO of Shakhbout Medical City, and a number of government officials, in order to directly assess the efficiency of treatment plans and ensure the provision of the highest levels of integrated care for them .
During its tour, the delegation was keen to interact directly with the injured and their families and listen to their assessment of the medical services, stressing that the safety of the community is the ultimate goal of the crisis management strategy in the emirate, and the primary focus of policies and procedures regardless of the accelerating regional developments.
His Excellency Major General Ahmed Saif bin Zaitoun Al Muhairi, Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police and Head of the Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Team for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi , stressed the need to mobilize all logistical and medical capabilities to accelerate recovery efforts, expressing his pride in their high morale and wishing them a speedy recovery.
His Excellency noted that the efficiency of the medical response demonstrates the robust infrastructure and proactive plans adopted by Abu Dhabi. He expressed his confidence in the rehabilitation pathways and advanced standards provided by Shakhbout Medical City to ensure a comprehensive recovery journey. His Excellency also commended the professionalism of the medical and administrative staff and their commitment to their humanitarian mission, emphasizing that these competencies are the true guarantee for protecting society and that empowering them is central to the emergency, crisis, and disaster management system.
The delegation concluded its visit by emphasizing that on-the-ground coordination between various sectors is the guarantee for establishing a flexible response capable of efficiently and effectively addressing challenges. It noted that the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Centre continues to closely monitor recovery indicators to ensure the sustainability of quality of life and to provide all necessary support for the well-being of those affected until their full recovery.
