Zawya - Press Releases: Steak launches Steak Predict... the first real estate prediction marketplace in the Middle East

  • The platform provides a first-of-its-kind index to measure investor sentiment in one of the region's most active real estate markets.
  • From prediction to ownership... The only market for predictions where prizes are directly converted into real estate investment, so that well-thought-out predictions are crowned with real estate ownership opportunities.

Dubai, UAE – Stake, the leading digital real estate investment platform in the Middle East and North Africa, has announced the launch of StakePredict, the first real estate prediction marketplace of its kind in the Middle East. This initiative empowers investors to anticipate future trends in Dubai’s real estate market and compare their predictions with actual market performance.

The launch comes at a pivotal moment for Dubai's real estate sector. Following a period of regional uncertainty, the market has demonstrated remarkable resilience, with real estate transactions rebounding and luxury property sales reaching record highs. However, despite the increasing volume of commentary, analysis, and opinions circulating about the market, there has never been a systematic way to gauge investor expectations regarding future developments.

This is what Stick Predict aims to change.

This feature, compliant with Islamic Sharia principles and integrated directly into the Stick app, is a quarterly prediction competition that invites participants to answer a series of questions related to Dubai's real estate market, including price movements, transaction activity, the performance of different areas, and general market trends. After the submission period closes, the answers are evaluated based on independent market data from Reidin, and participants are ranked according to the accuracy of their predictions.

This leads to the creation of what STEC believes is the first collective indicator of investor trends in the real estate sector at the regional level, as it reflects the vision of thousands of investors regarding the future trends of one of the most dynamic real estate markets in the world, within an interactive experience that combines friendly competition with the opportunity to win real cash prizes, making accurate predictions a step towards building actual real estate ownership.

Commenting on this, Rami Tabara, co-founder and co-CEO of Stick, said: “Dubai’s real estate market is one of the most closely watched and closely followed markets in the world. Every day, investors, analysts, brokers, and residents exchange opinions about price trends, promising areas, and what the future may hold for the market. However, there has never been an organized mechanism to monitor and measure these expectations. Stick Predict transforms market opinions into measurable indicators, enabling investors to record their expectations and compare them with actual results.”

He added: “What distinguishes Stick Predict from others in this field is that the investment vision itself represents the starting point, meaning that investors do not need capital to start building their real estate portfolio, but rather a deep understanding of the market and confidence in the forecasts. If participants succeed in accurately predicting market trends, they get an opportunity to invest in it. Unlike any other forecasting market, Stick Predict allows participants to predict the trends of the Dubai real estate market and achieve rewards that open the door to owning a stake in it.”

The concept capitalizes on the growing global prevalence of forecasting markets, which are increasingly used to predict outcomes in finance, politics, economics, and other current issues. However, Stick Predict is specifically designed for real estate investors, requires no capital risk or betting on outcomes, and is completely free.

Instead, the platform rewards participants based on the accuracy of their market predictions, encouraging thoughtful analysis and a deeper understanding of the key factors influencing Dubai’s real estate sector.

The inaugural edition of Stick Predict will take place between June 16 and 30, 2026, and will feature ten multiple-choice questions covering key aspects of Dubai's real estate market. Results will be announced following the release of independently verified market data for the relevant quarter, and those with the best predictions will be added to a publicly accessible leaderboard and awarded prizes in recognition of their performance.

Tabara added: "One of the most distinctive features of Stick Predict is that it allows investors to express their vision of the market. For the first time, we will be able to monitor not only what has actually happened, but also what investors expected to happen. We believe that this data will, over time, become an important source for understanding market trends and investor behavior patterns."

The launch of Stick Predict is in line with Stick’s broader commitment to enhancing transparency, accessibility and interaction in the real estate ecosystem, and supporting investors to make more informed decisions by leveraging data and technology.
