Cairo, Egypt – February 2, 2026 – Serenity Investment and Real Estate Asset Management Company announced its launch as the first developer specializing in the development and management of memorial gardens, with its first project “Serene”, located on a 58-acre plot of land as a first phase in partnership with the Administrative Capital for Urban Development Company, on the Suez Road, and is expected to be launched in the first quarter of 2026. This step comes within the framework of a vision that aims to develop the concept of cemeteries in Egypt within a civilized and organized framework, with full commitment to all Islamic regulations and laws, in line with the requirements of modern urban planning.
The “Serene” project offers an integrated model for memorial gardens, based on thoughtful planning and basic services aimed at improving the visitor experience. It includes a mosque, designated parking areas, an integrated security system that ensures privacy around the clock, landscaped green spaces, and a specialized administrative body to prepare the units and facilitate visits, reflecting a practical understanding of the needs of Egyptian families.
Engineer Khaled Abbas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Administrative Capital for Urban Development Company, commented: "We are proud of the integration of the projects of the New Administrative Capital, as a model to be emulated, as the 'Serene' project represents a qualitative addition that is in line with the comprehensive vision for applying the concepts of integrated planning and development in the new capital. For his part, Professor Shamel Aboul-Fadl, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Serenity Investment and Real Estate Management Company, stated: “Given the difficult personal experiences of losing loved ones and the difficulties we face in continuing to visit, the opportunity arose for us to turn this idea into reality. The ‘Seren’ Memorial Gardens project was developed, inspired by the historical Egyptian legacy of honoring the departed, and re-presented in a contemporary form that balances religious authenticity with the requirements of modern life, to encourage regular visits and make it a more organized and peaceful experience, without compromising the sanctity of the place.”

Al-Laithi Architects is designing the project, meticulously attending to every architectural detail to create an atmosphere of tranquility and peace, and to facilitate burial and visitation procedures, while adhering to modern planning standards that ensure ease of movement and respect for the sacred nature of the site. This design vision reflects the "Serenity" approach, which is based on the investment of a team of experienced real estate developers, including Mr. Shamel Abu El-Fadl, Chairman of the Board, Mr. Tarek Abdel Rahman, and architect Laithy Makawy.
