Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: Nemetech Arabia, a company specializing in developing software solutions for the fields of architectural design, engineering, construction and building management, has signed a partnership with the Saudi Facilities Management Association, with the aim of cooperating in developing the facilities management sector in the Kingdom through the latest digital innovations in line with the directions of Vision 2030.
The agreement stipulates cooperation in the areas of exchanging experiences and professional knowledge, organizing training programs and specialized workshops, and participating in events and exhibitions related to the facilities management sector.
The collaboration also includes working on research and development initiatives, studying the implementation of pilot projects in governmental and private entities, with a focus on the use of advanced digital tools in building management, improving the operational efficiency of smart buildings, and enhancing the decision-making process based on data and digital twin technologies.
The partnership also includes supporting national capacity and talent development programs, providing educational materials and consulting services, and contributing to the qualification of personnel working in the facilities management sector, in accordance with the requirements of existing and future projects in the Kingdom.
In this context, Yves Badrin, CEO of the Nemecq Group, emphasized that facilities management plays a pivotal role in preserving asset value and enhancing their sustainability and operational efficiency. He noted that the expansion of national projects within the framework of Saudi Vision 2030 necessitates the increased use of digital solutions across all stages of the asset lifecycle, from design and construction to operation. He explained that the collaboration with the Saudi Facilities Management Association (SFMA) aligns with Nemecq's commitment to supporting the Kingdom's digital transformation by enabling data-driven facilities management, implementing open and integrating digital technologies, and fostering collaboration with stakeholders in the sector.
For his part, Mu’ayyad Simbawh, General Manager of Nemetech Arabia, explained that the facilities management sector is undergoing a transformation driven by digitalization, sustainability, and smart operation, stressing that this cooperation reflects a shared conviction that technology, skills development, and collaborative work are essential elements for developing the facilities management sector in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
For his part, Engineer Ayed bin Awad Al-Qahtani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Facilities Management Association, indicated that the association always strives to develop facilities management standards in the Kingdom. He emphasized that collaborating with a leading technology company in the field like Nimitech provides industry professionals with advanced tools and global professional expertise. He added, "This collaboration will contribute to driving innovation, enhancing research, and developing national talent to efficiently manage major projects in the Kingdom."
