Diriyah : Diriyah Company announced today the addition of 8 new brands to Diriyah Square, in a move that reflects the accelerating pace of development work in the project, and keeps pace with the continuous progress in the implementation of construction work in more than 400 shops and restaurants, within one of the most prominent urban areas in Diriyah.

The brands announced include Adidas, Spinneys, Seven Luxury Wellness, Olly Olly, Al Dawaa Pharmacy, Alo Yoga, On Running, and Fakih Clinic, adding a wide range of activities that include shopping, health, and quality services.

The CEO of Diriyah Group, Jerry Inzerillo, explained that the addition of these brands constitutes a qualitative addition to Diriyah Square, and enhances its status as a vibrant area that embraces different patterns of daily activities, noting that the project balances between preserving the historical character of Diriyah, and providing modern facilities that meet the aspirations of residents and visitors, and support the quality of life.

The announcement comes amid growing interest from major local and international brands to be present in Diriyah Square, an indicator that reflects the attractiveness of the project and what it provides in terms of an integrated urban environment that has been designed to be pedestrian-friendly, with an architectural identity inspired by Najdi architecture, reflecting the spirit of the place and its history, while keeping pace with the requirements of contemporary life.

The new brands cover more than 15,000 square meters of retail and service space, offering diverse experiences through an Adidas store, the interactive children's toy museum "OliOli," Seven Luxury Wellness's health and relaxation facilities, and active lifestyle brands such as "Alo Yoga" and "On Running," reflecting the wide range of options and integrated offerings within the area. These agreements follow a series of previously announced deals, including one with VOX Cinemas and several other prominent retailers.

Earlier this year, Diriyah Company awarded a contract worth US$600 million, equivalent to SAR 2.249 billion, to Salini Saudi Arabia, a subsidiary of the “We Build” group, to carry out the development works of Diriyah Square, which includes 73 buildings and about 400 units intended for commercial and service use.

Diriyah is expected to contribute approximately US$18.6 billion, equivalent to 70 billion Saudi riyals, to the Kingdom’s GDP, provide approximately 180,000 job opportunities, accommodate around 100,000 residents, and receive approximately 50 million visits annually.

Diriyah is expected to include modern office spaces for thousands of workers in the fields of technology, media, innovation, arts and education, world-class museums, a university, the Royal Opera House in Diriyah, Diriyah Square, and about 40 luxury hotels, in addition to a wide range of restaurants and recreational facilities, including a golf club with a course designed by Greg Norman, and an equestrian and polo club in Wadi Safar.

Al Bujairi Overlook welcomes its guests to enjoy the finest experiences in the hospitality sector, and includes more than 20 international and local restaurants and cafes, with stunning panoramic views of the historic Al Tarif district, Wadi Hanifa and Bab Samhan Hotel (the first hotel specializing in providing hospitality in Diriyah).
