Zawya - Press Releases: CNTXT AI Launches Munsit, the World's Most Accurate Arabic-Language AI Voice Platform

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates: Amid the UAE’s accelerating investments in artificial intelligence technologies and digital services, Abu Dhabi-based CNTXT AI announced the expansion of its Munsit platform to become a unified Arabic voice AI platform, combining speech recognition and voice generation technologies within a single system designed for practical uses across government entities, the financial sector, and digital platforms.

This update comes at a time when voice is becoming increasingly important as a primary interface for interacting with AI systems globally, coinciding with a growing demand for Arabic language solutions in the region. With the increasing volume of voice interactions in areas such as customer service, digital banking, government services, and media, organizations still face challenges in processing them accurately due to the limited tools available, particularly across different dialects. CNTXT AI confirmed that its “Mansat” platform was developed to bridge this gap.

Mohammed Abu Al-Sheikh, founder and CEO of CNTXT AI , said: “We can no longer accept being mere spectators in the AI race. The Arabic language has been marginalized for too long in the development of these technologies globally. 'Munsat' is proof that when a language is built from day one, it doesn't just compete, it leads the way. It is the most accurate Arabic voice AI platform in the world, developed here, for our region, to be the engine of the next stage.”

Originally launched as a speech-to-text model, “Munassat” has evolved into a fully integrated speech engine. The new version combines CNTXT ’s patented speech recognition technology with Faseeh’s text-to-speech model, enabling systems not only to understand spoken Arabic but also to generate it naturally across more than 25 dialects.

This allows for the creation of a fully integrated, closed system through which sound can be captured, converted into text, analyzed, and then reproduced as natural Arabic speech within the same workflow.

The platform is available via APIs , a web workspace, and a mobile application, with the possibility of deployment via the cloud, private infrastructure, or on - premise, ensuring data sovereignty and full control.

The platform has seen strong adoption in its early stages, with CNTXT AI reporting that the platform has already processed over 86 million Arabic words and more than one million minutes of audio, and is used by over 250 government entities and institutions. The app also surpassed 150,000 users within just two months of its launch.

The company believes this level of usage reflects a broader shift in how artificial intelligence technologies are employed in the region.

With the rapid expansion of e-commerce, digital banking, and online services in the UAE and the wider Middle East region, the volume of voice interactions has increased significantly. Until recently, much of this data was difficult to analyze due to technical limitations in Arabic speech recognition, particularly across dialects.

The platform allows organizations to leverage this data more efficiently. Contact centers can analyze all customer interactions instead of just a limited sample. Financial institutions can use voice data for compliance and quality control purposes on a large scale. Government agencies can transcribe and search meetings and citizen interactions in their native dialects, while keeping the data within their own infrastructure.

For developers, the platform provides a direct way to integrate Arabic voice capabilities into applications without having to build prototypes from scratch, reducing costs and accelerating time to market.

This launch also reflects the UAE's focus on building local AI capabilities. While global companies still dominate the core model layer, regional companies are increasingly developing solutions tailored to local languages and operational needs.

CNTXT AI confirmed that its goal is to establish a “platform” within this ecosystem.

Abu Al-Sheikh added: “The Arabic language has always suffered from a lack of support in the field of artificial intelligence. If the region wants to build truly advanced technologies, it needs systems that deeply understand its language. This is what we are working to achieve.”
