Kuwait : In preparation for the holy month of Ramadan, Talabat, the leading online food delivery and ordering platform in the Middle East and North Africa, announced its leadership of the Ramadan Food Basket initiative. This latest community partnership is a collaboration with Kuwait Flour Mills and Bakeries Company, Mishref Cooperative Society, and Namaa Charity. The initiative reflects Talabat's commitment to fostering a culture of partnership and cooperation that transcends commercial success, contributing to shared benefit and social cohesion across Kuwait.

The Ramadan food basket campaign aims to distribute 600 complete food baskets to needy families in various regions of the State of Kuwait, which contributes to meeting their basic needs throughout the holy month, and at the same time reinforces the spirit of solidarity and compassion among members of society.

The campaign is part of the annual "Talabat" social responsibility program, which aims to improve the quality of daily life for members of society, through building effective partnerships with civil society organizations, as well as governmental and private entities, in order to contribute to achieving a sustainable positive impact on the Kuwaiti social fabric.

As part of its commitment to fostering a culture of community engagement within the company, Talabat employees, from senior management to senior staff, volunteered to prepare food baskets. The packing took place at the Mishref Cooperative Society headquarters. Volunteers from various job levels at Kuwait Flour Mills and Bakeries Company, Mishref Cooperative Society, and Namaa Charity also joined the preparation efforts. Namaa Charity Society handled the distribution, ensuring that the food baskets reached the most deserving families.
