The centre aims to provide a seamless and high-quality experience for residents of Kuwait. The new facility features an increased number of biometric data entry counters to ensure a faster visa application process. The centre also boasts a modern design that provides a comfortable and secure environment, guaranteeing complete privacy for all visitors.

The new visa application center was inaugurated in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Juraj Khmel, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Kuwait, His Excellency Mr. Hans-Christian Freiherr von Ribbenitz, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the State of Kuwait, Ms. Monaz Pelimoria, Regional President of VFS Global in Kuwait, and Mr. Avdhot Schiller, Head of Operations at VFS Global in Kuwait.

On this occasion, His Excellency Mr. Juraj K. Mil, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Kuwait, said during the opening ceremony: “The new Visa Application Centre reflects our firm commitment to providing efficient, transparent and user-friendly services . We are confident that the enhanced services offered by the centre will contribute to facilitating travel, supporting cultural exchange, trade growth and deepening ties between our two peoples. We look forward to welcoming more travelers to explore the natural, historical and cultural beauty of the Czech Republic, as well as to discover its modern technologies and world-class health resorts.”

For his part, His Excellency Mr. Hans-Christian Freiherr von Ribbenitz, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the State of Kuwait , stated: “VFS Global has been entrusted with receiving visa applications for the Federal Republic of Germany for over 20 years, during which time the company’s services have witnessed continuous expansion and development. As all residents of Kuwait wishing to travel to Germany pass through this center, I am very pleased to see these improvements that have made the center a model of hospitality, efficiency, and comfort. It is undoubtedly the ideal place to begin a visit to my country, Germany.”

Visa applicants can choose from a range of optional services to enhance their application experience, such as SMS alerts, courier services, and more. It's important to note that selecting these additional services does not affect the processing timeline or the decision on visa applications.

VFS Global has been a trusted partner of the governments of the Czech Republic and the Federal Republic of Germany in visa processing services since 2014 and 2005, respectively. Today, the company provides visa services on behalf of the Czech Republic in 30 countries through a network of 73 visa application centers, and supports the government of the Federal Republic of Germany in 31 countries worldwide through a network of 74 centers.

Applicants are required to book an appointment to submit their visa applications for the Czech Republic and the Federal Republic of Germany. Appointments are available on the website www.vfsglobal.com at no additional charge.

It should be noted that VFS Global's role in the visa application process is limited to initial administrative tasks, which include collecting visa application forms and required documents according to the checklist provided by the embassy. VFS Global does not participate in the visa decision-making process, as this is solely the responsibility of the embassy and consulate.
