Cairo: Contact Financial Holding Company (CNFN.CA) , a leader in non-banking financial services, announced today the appointment of Dr. Manal Hussein Abdel Razek as Chairperson of its Board of Directors, effective April 28, 2026, succeeding Mr. Hazem Moussa.

Dr. Manal has over three decades of leadership experience in the financial services, public, and private sectors in Egypt. She currently serves as Chairperson of New City Real Estate Development Company (formerly Orascom Housing Cooperative), in addition to her role as Senior Advisor to TCI Sanmar Chemicals Group, one of the region's leading industrial groups .

Her impressive professional record includes several influential leadership positions, including founding and chairing e-Finance , the leading electronic payments platform in Egypt, and serving as Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Tamweel Real Estate Finance Company. She also served on the boards of both Misr Iran Development Bank (MIDBANK) and Arab Investment Bank (AIBANK) , now known as BANK NXT , providing her with extensive experience in governance and the financial sector .

She also previously chaired Orascom Development Egypt, where she led efforts to transform El Gouna into a carbon-neutral city, which culminated in it receiving the World Green City Award under the auspices of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) , making it a regional model to be emulated in sustainable development .

Prior to moving to the private sector, Dr. Manal held leadership positions in the Egyptian government for more than 20 years, including Deputy Minister of Finance and Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade, where she contributed to the formulation and implementation of a number of important economic and political reforms .
