Commenting on this expanded partnership, Johnny Karam, General Manager and Vice President of International Emerging Markets at Cohesity, said: “Organizations in the Middle East are undergoing a rapid transformation in the way they protect, manage, and recover data, especially with the expansion and increasing distribution of hybrid cloud environments. With the accelerating pace of digital transformation in markets like the UAE, resilience is no longer just about data backup, but is now linked to the ability of organizations to ensure business continuity, minimize disruptions, and recover confidently and quickly. By expanding our collaboration with HPE, we are combining a reliable hybrid cloud infrastructure with AI-powered data security solutions to help organizations streamline their operations, enhance their resilience, and protect the vital data on which their business is based.”

For her part, Fidelma Russo, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Hybrid Cloud and Chief Technology Officer at HPE, said: "Together, Cohesion and HPE are helping organizations modernize their data protection strategies while enhancing agility and operational efficiency across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. This collaboration delivers a simpler and more efficient hybrid cloud management model, ensuring data is protected and managed wherever it resides, while providing higher levels of performance and flexibility."

As part of this partnership, HPE recently secured one of the largest hybrid cloud modernization projects for federal entities in the United States, in collaboration with the Defense Information Systems Agency ( DISA ). HPE was selected to create a sovereign and secure cloud architecture that combines HPE Green Lake with integrated data protection capabilities. This solution unifies disparate traditional technology environments within a modern hybrid cloud architecture that boasts high cyber resilience and supports multiple security domains, while Cohesion provides data protection and cyber resilience capabilities across the various components of the platform.

This project represents a long-term, wide-ranging agreement in favor of HPE, while Kohizity delivers data protection capabilities through a flexible, consumption-based model that is compatible with HPE Green Lake. This selection also reinforces Kohizity's position as a key provider of data protection solutions within this strategic project .

On the other hand, Kohizity recently awarded HPE the “Original Equipment Manufacturer Partner” award for fiscal year 2025 in Europe, after achieving 177% annual growth in software sales, along with concluding a number of joint successes with leading European institutions. The new expansion in cooperation between the two parties comes as an extension of this growing momentum, and reflects the increasing demand for integrated solutions from Kohizity and HPE at the regional and global levels.
