Dubai, United Arab Emirates : The Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences concluded a series of introductory visits to its educational awards for 300 potential candidates from students, teachers and educators in 7 schools and scientific complexes in various emirates of the country, as part of a direct field program aimed at promoting quality participation in the current cycle of the awards.
The total number of beneficiaries included 212 students, 58 teachers and 30 educators, as the meetings focused on presenting the award categories, nomination criteria and evaluation mechanisms, in addition to clarifying the requirements for preparing participation files according to the approved quality indicators .
Khawla Ahmed Bahloq, Assistant Executive Director of the Excellence Sector, said: “The Foundation is keen to support and empower the target groups to understand the regulatory framework of the awards and the application requirements, and to enhance the readiness of educational institutions to participate systematically in a way that reflects the actual level of performance and practices applied within schools. She emphasized that the introductory visits represent a direct channel of communication with the educational field, and allow for a detailed explanation of the award criteria and nomination requirements. We have witnessed a clear interest from schools and educational staff in participating, in addition to their keenness to understand the evaluation mechanisms and how to prepare files that meet the approved requirements. This interaction reflects a growing awareness of the importance of adhering to quality standards when applying for the awards .”
The meetings included professional discussions on application requirements and arbitration criteria, in addition to reviewing applied models on how to align educational practices with excellence indicators, in order to raise the level and quality of participation in the current session .
These visits are part of the foundation's plan to promote the awards and enhance institutional and individual participation in them, ensuring a wider range of interaction with various educational groups in the country.
