Dubai, UAE : The Mohammed Bin Rashid Fund for SME Development, an agency of Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism, announced the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement with Tadawi Healthcare Group to expand the reach of UAE-based businesses in Dubai to access new procurement opportunities, increase their commercial presence, and continue their growth.
This partnership aligns with the Foundation's efforts to support national projects and stimulate the entrepreneurship ecosystem, in accordance with the objectives of Dubai's D33 Economic Agenda, which aims to double the size of the emirate's economy by 2033 and solidify its position as a competitive and attractive hub for Emirati businesses. It also aims to enhance the efficiency of the Foundation's members in launching and expanding their businesses by providing them with dedicated procurement opportunities and access to preferential rates for retail and rental spaces within Tadawi Healthcare Group's network of facilities. Furthermore, the partnership connects small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with stable and high-quality demand in the healthcare sector, thereby empowering these businesses in the long term.
Under the agreement, members of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Fund for SME Development will receive discounts on the prices of commercial spaces and locations, including retail outlets, and services dedicated to meeting the needs of patients and visitors .
The agreement also stipulates that priority will be given to UAE-based suppliers who are members of the Foundation in securing deals and contracts that Tadawi Group will include in its supplier list. The scope of procurement contracts covers a wide range of needs, encompassing healthcare sector requirements as well as general procurement categories. The partnership will also allow Foundation members the opportunity to participate in events and activities organized by Tadawi Group .
