Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain: Gulf Partners Group (“GBG”) announced its launch, led by its founding management team, comprising three Gulf-based private equity partners with a combined experience of over 70 years. Headquartered in the Kingdom of Bahrain, the group plans to expand across the Gulf region, subject to regulatory approvals, focusing on the mid-market and select investments in private equity, private credit, and chosen real estate and growth opportunities.

Gulf Partners is led by a dedicated management team and is supported by Arzan Financial Group, a leading financial institution in the region listed on the Kuwait Stock Exchange, which is a major shareholder and key supporter in various aspects including governance, infrastructure, balance sheet and a long-term investment targeting US$2.5 billion over the next five years.

The group’s founding management team includes: Mohammed Al-Qahtani, Co-CEO; Yousef Al-Abdullah, Co-CEO; and Waleed Abdulaziz, Chief Investment Officer. The team has a shared background in a leading alternative asset management firm, where they played a pivotal role in developing the private equity sector in the Middle East and North Africa region, expanding real estate investments, and launching investment products that attracted major sovereign wealth funds, institutional investors, and a number of family offices in the Gulf region .
