Abu Dhabi, the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology announced the winners of the “Made in the UAE” awards, including industry leaders, innovators and institutions, during the first day of the fifth edition of the “Made in the UAE” platform, which runs from May 4 to 7 and is hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, ADNOC Group and Al Emad Holding Company, and organized by ADNEC Group.
His Excellency Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Foreign Trade, His Excellency Sheikh Salem bin Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of Culture, and His Excellency Badr Jafar, Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Business and Charitable Affairs and CEO of Crescent Enterprises, witnessed the honoring of the award winners, reflecting the UAE’s support for distinguished, innovative, visionary individuals and companies that contribute most to and have an impact on industrial growth and technological transformation, and promote sustainability and innovation, thereby enhancing economic diversification and supporting the resilience of supply chains.
The judging panel comprised a select group of leaders and experts from government entities, the industrial sector, and academia, reflecting the depth and diversity of experience that contributes to shaping the future of industry in the country. The awards process involves several stages, beginning with the application phase, during which submissions are received from various entities. These submissions then move to the review stage, where specialized technical committees meticulously evaluate all entries to select a shortlist of top candidates in each category. Finally, the award's supreme committee conducts the voting process to select the ultimate winners.
These stages conclude with the main awards ceremony, where the winners in the large companies and small and medium companies categories within each category are announced, coinciding with the launch of the “Made in the UAE” platform events. The 2026 edition of the awards witnessed the honoring of winners within six strategic categories: the Advanced Technology Leadership Award, the National Industry Award, the Quality and Conformity Award, the Future Industry Leaders Award, the Inspirational Pioneer Award, and the Emirati Traditional Crafts Award.
Following a rigorous evaluation process by the Higher Awards Committee, the winners were selected based on their excellence, impact, and tangible contributions to promoting the growth of the national industry, enhancing its competitiveness, and supporting the innovation ecosystem in the UAE, in a move that reflects the country’s commitment to accelerating the adoption of advanced technology and consolidating its position as a global hub for advanced industry.

The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology launched these awards in 2023 to honor individuals and entities that have provided outstanding examples of innovation and industrial excellence, and have contributed to enhancing the UAE’s global competitiveness and establishing the foundations for sustainable industrial growth that is able to adapt to changes.
