PRESSR: Zain Tech, in collaboration with Zain Kuwait and Zain Oman Tel International, and in partnership with Microsoft, are launching a new phase of government digital transformation in Kuwait.
- In line with Kuwait Vision 2035, the government and business sectors in Kuwait can now connect to high-performance cloud solutions quickly and easily.
Kuwait : Zain Tech, the integrated digital solutions provider affiliated with Zain Group, in collaboration with Zain Kuwait and Zain Oman Tel International (ZOI), today announced the launch of Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute on the Azure Store, marking a unique and qualitative step among Zain Group affiliates.
This service enables government and business customers in Kuwait to access a secure, private, and Azure-compatible connection directly from the Azure Store, providing direct access to a world-class cloud infrastructure. Customers with existing Azure agreements can purchase ExpressRoute using their existing Microsoft Azure credits, simplifying the purchasing process and accelerating value realization.
ExpressRoute provides dedicated connectivity to Microsoft data centers in the UAE and Europe, supporting critical workloads that require high performance, advanced security, and data sovereignty, while fully complying with applicable national regulations and standards in Kuwait.
On this occasion, Andrew Hanna, CEO of Zain Tech, said: “Empowering government agencies and businesses to achieve digital transformation intelligently and flexibly is our primary goal. The availability of ExpressRoute on the Azure Marketplace represents a qualitative leap for customers in Kuwait, as it removes obstacles from the purchasing process and makes it easier for entities to leverage the Azure cloud platform using existing agreements and credits. This confirms that streamlining operations is the fastest way to achieve the desired digital transformation.”
The strategic partnership between the four parties—Zain Tech, Zain Kuwait, Zain Omantel International, and Microsoft—represents a new standard for cloud connectivity in Kuwait, combining speed, commitment, flexibility, and ease of adoption. This initiative also supports Kuwait Vision 2035 and the country's broader digital transformation goals by enabling the next generation of cloud-based services for the government and business sectors.
This initiative underscores Zain Tech's ongoing commitment to enabling governments and businesses to leverage next-generation infrastructure capabilities to enhance resilience, accelerate modernization, and drive regional digital transformation.
