Cairo, Egypt: Siemens Healthineers, a global leader in medical technology, announced its participation in Africa Health Excon 2025, held under the patronage of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi from June 24 to 27 at the Egypt International Exhibition Center (EIEC). Professor Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, accompanied by Professor Dr. Hisham Steit, Chairman of the Unified Procurement Authority, visited the Siemens Healthineers Egypt booth, where they were briefed on the company’s latest solutions and AI-powered technologies. The company showcased an advanced portfolio of healthcare solutions as part of its commitment to supporting the digital transformation of the healthcare sector in Egypt and the region.

Siemens Healthineers is present at this year's edition with two dedicated pavilions within the exhibition. The main pavilion highlights advanced diagnostic and interventional radiology solutions, while the second pavilion focuses on next-generation laboratory diagnostic technologies. During the exhibition, the company unveiled a range of pioneering innovations, including the latest MAGNETOM Flow Elite, a 1.5 Tesla, 70 cm diameter MRI that does not require helium refilling, enhancing operational efficiency and high-quality examination accuracy. It also unveiled the NAEOTOM Alpha.Prime, the world's first photon-counting CT scanner, designed to deliver ultra-high-resolution imaging and powered by artificial intelligence to accelerate workflow and support clinical decision-making. The company also introduced the SOMATOM On.site, a mobile CT scanner that enables accurate examinations in critical care settings such as intensive care units or ambulances, thanks to its innovative telescopic design and advanced technologies.

The company is also showcasing a comprehensive range of radiology solutions, such as the MOBILETT Elara Max mobile x-ray, ACUSON Sequoia and ACUSON Juniper ultrasound machines, along with Symbia Pro.specta and Biograph Trinion piezotrons. The laboratory diagnostics pavilion highlights innovative solutions such as the Atellica CN-3000 coagulation analyzer, Atellica HEMA 580 and Atellica HEMA 530 hematology analyzers, the Hematek 3000 sedimentation system, and Atellica CI chemistry analyzers, highlighting the diagnostic integration offered by Siemens Healthineers. These advanced solutions play a pivotal role in supporting the development of Egypt's healthcare system by enabling early detection, improving treatment outcomes, and expanding access to high-quality healthcare services across the country.

Commenting on the occasion, Eng.
