PRESSR: Kuwait Projects Company announces the appointment of Samer Aboushi to the position of Senior Vice President of the Group - Investment Sector

Kuwait City - Kuwait Projects Company (Holding) announced the appointment of Mr. Samer Aboushi to the position of Group Senior Vice President - Investment Sector. With over 20 years of experience in the financial and investment banking sectors, Mr. Aboushi will contribute significantly to the development of the projects company’s portfolio in the financial and real estate sectors.

On this occasion, Sheikha Adana Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, CEO of Projects Company, said, “We are pleased that Samer has joined the investment team at Projects Company. The experience he has in the investment banking sector in the local and regional markets will constitute an important addition to the company’s executive management.”

For his part, Mr. Aboushi said, “I am pleased to join KIPCO and I look forward to working with the Group CEO and executive management to achieve the company’s strategy.”

Before that, he held the position of Head of Strategic Investments.

Mr. Aboushi joins the Projects Company from Gulf Bank, where he held the position of Deputy General Manager for Investment Banking. Mr. Aboushi began his career at Ernst & Young, then joined Global Investment House, where his last position was Senior Vice President of Investment Banking. Mr. Aboushi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the American University of Beirut, an MBA from the London Business School, and holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification.
