Greenway highlighted the company's operational achievements: " With a nearly 60% increase in flight numbers compared to the first half of 2024, we successfully reached 200 daily flights for the first time in June. With the fleet now at 40 aircraft, this is a new milestone that adds more capacity to support our existing flights and expand our destinations ."

He added, " Our achievement of the world's most punctual airline status in June is a testament to our focus on operational excellence alongside our capacity expansion. Launching regular flights to Karachi, Pakistan – our first step into South Asia – and adding Sabiha Gökçen Airport, Istanbul's second-largest airport, and Alexandria as our fourth year-round destination in Egypt, demonstrates our approach to opening new markets and strengthening existing ones."

Looking ahead, Greenway revealed flyadeal's ambitious plans: " In the coming months, we look forward to strengthening our operations in Pakistan by adding new destinations, including Islamabad, Sialkot, and Peshawar. We are also close to reaching a new milestone by the end of the year, which is carrying 40 million passengers since our first flights ."

Greenway continued: " We continue to invest in human resources, and we aim to triple this number by 2030. This will include attracting more trained Saudi flight attendants through the Cadet Pilot Initiative, which began in February under the Saudi government scholarship program, and will see 150 trainees trained over the next two years."

Greenway pointed out that flyadeal's joining of Saudia's Alfursan program, the signing of the first strategic partnership with the Philippine budget airline Cebu Pacific for a wet lease on a reciprocal basis, in addition to the historic order for the wide-body A330 aircraft, reflect the evolution of the company's model towards entering new markets and services, without abandoning its principles as a low-cost operator .

Flyadeal currently operates a fleet of 40 aircraft from its bases in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam, serving more than 30 domestic and international destinations across the Middle East, North Africa, Europe, and South Asia. In line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, the company aims to expand its network to more than 100 destinations and operate more than 100 aircraft by the end of the decade .

About Flyadeal

Flyadeal launched on September 23, 2017, Saudi Arabia's National Day, with its first flight between Jeddah and Riyadh. A pioneer and innovator, flyadeal was the first regional low-cost carrier to launch services entirely based on digital distribution channels. As the sister airline to the national carrier Saudia—both operating under the umbrella of Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia Group), flyadeal was created specifically to cater to the needs of a young, tech-savvy traveler in a market where 80% of the population is under the age of 40, most of whom own more than one mobile device.

Flyadeal aims to stimulate travel, tourism, and trade through its everyday competitive fares and value-for-money services, meeting the needs of leisure, business, Hajj and Umrah travelers. The company offers a streamlined travel experience with an all-economy cabin on board its fleet of single-aisle aircraft. Amid the Kingdom's significant transformation under Saudi Vision 2030, the aviation and tourism sectors are key drivers of growth. Flyadeal has cemented its position as the fastest-growing airline in the Kingdom and the region, driven by its outstanding operational performance, particularly in on-time flight performance, consistently outperforming the global industry average.

In May 2024, the company announced its largest order in history, for 51 new aircraft (12 A320neo and 39 A321neo ), with deliveries commencing in 2027. The company also intends to begin operating scheduled long-haul flights from 2027, with 10 A330neo widebody aircraft ordered as part of a deal concluded with the Saudia Group in April 2025.

With its ambitious expansion plans, Flyadeal is one of the most attractive airlines in the Saudi labor market.
