- Pop star Taylor Swift surprised attendees with an appearance in Hollywood on Tuesday during the premiere of the animated film "Toy Story 5".

Swift sat at the piano on the Dolby Theatre stage wearing a long dress and sang "I New Eight, I New You," a song she wrote specifically for the new Toy Story film. She said she is a huge fan of the film franchise.

She added, "It means a lot to me to be a small part of these films."

Swift then introduced another unexpected guest, Randy Newman, composer of the soundtrack and many of the series' hit songs. The duo performed "You've Got a Friend in Me," one of Newman's hits from the first Toy Story film in 1995.

Swift had previously stood on the red carpet with Tom Hanks and other members of the voice cast for these films.

Walt Disney's Pixar Animation Studios will release Toy Story 5 in cinemas on June 19.
