Kahraba shines in Enppi's 2-0 win over Smouha in the Egyptian League

- Mahmoud Abdel-Moneim (Kahraba) scored a goal in Enppi's 2-0 win over hosts Smouha in the Egyptian Premier League championship round on Tuesday.

Enppi, who qualified for the championship round after finishing seventh in the first round, increased their points tally to 33, moving up to fifth place. Smouha remained on 31 points in seventh and last place in the championship round.

After the first half ended in a goalless draw, Smouha player Mohamed Mostafa (Mido) scored an own goal after Emad Mehoub's pass hit his foot, giving Enppi the lead in the 63rd minute.

In his fifth appearance for the team since returning to Enppi in February on a free transfer, Kahraba added the second goal with a backheel shot after taking advantage of a low pass from his teammate Hamed Abdullah.

Kahraba (31 years old) scored his ninth goal with Enppi in 40 matches he played with the team where he started his career and played for the first team since 2011 before moving to Swiss club Luzern in 2013. The winner of the Man of the Match award has had several experiences in Saudi Arabia, Portugal, Turkey, Libya and Kuwait, in addition to defending the colors of the two giants of the game in Egypt, Zamalek and Al-Ahly respectively.
