PRESSR: The MENA Investment Conference Returns to Abu Dhabi for its Seventh Edition
Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – The CFA Society Emirates has announced that it will host the MENA ICON 2025 conference on September 30 and October 1, 2025, in Abu Dhabi. This year’s conference, in its seventh edition, has become one of the region’s most influential gatherings of global financial leaders, policymakers, and institutional investors, cementing the UAE’s position as a hub for investment dialogue and innovation.
Designed as a platform for learning, leadership, and long-term thinking, this year's conference will address prominent topics including artificial intelligence, innovation, financial markets, and family offices. Keynote speakers and panelists will discuss the role of artificial intelligence, macroeconomic transformations, and private equity in reshaping value creation, investment strategies, and regulatory frameworks in the region and globally. Over two days, the conference will bring together CEOs, senior executives, regulators, asset managers, family offices, venture capitalists, and academics for panel discussions, workshops, and high-level networking opportunities.
Highlights of this year's conference include an exclusive panel discussion with Ray Dalio, founder of Bridgewater Associates, who will share his insights on economic cycles, global risk dynamics, and strategies for building resilience in an increasingly uncertain financial environment.
The first day will include workshops led by specialized experts covering AI in finance, alternative investments, and career building, providing practical learning opportunities for professionals at various stages of their careers. The second day will feature keynote speeches and panel discussions on pressing issues such as geopolitical developments, risk management, digital assets, and AI-induced disruption.
“The MENA Investment Conference has evolved to become more than just a traditional conference; it is a platform for learning, collaboration, and forward-looking, thought-provoking dialogue,” said William Tohme, President of the CFA Society Emirates. “This year’s edition will bridge global expertise with regional ambition, empowering the financial community to lead through innovation and shared knowledge.”
The 2025 edition is expected to attract more than 500 participants and over 30 prominent speakers, creating a dynamic space for the exchange of investment ideas and expertise.
