PRESSR: Idhkaa Group and Yango Group launch the Yango system in the Sultanate of Oman

Muscat, Sultanate of Oman – Ithkaa Group announced a partnership with Yango Group, a global technology company, to officially launch the Yango ecosystem in the Sultanate of Oman. This partnership brings advanced digital solutions and AI-powered services to the Sultanate, supporting its ambitions to accelerate digital transformation and achieve sustainable, long-term economic growth.

As part of this launch, Ithkaa Group and Yango Group completed the acquisition of Otaxi, the Omani platform operating the taxi transportation application. In close coordination with the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology ( MTCIT ), the two groups are working to develop Otaxi's technical infrastructure by improving service speed, accuracy, accessibility, and scalability. This will expand the platform's operations to cover all governorates of the Sultanate of Oman and expand its services to include various areas such as home delivery, vehicle rental, smart maps, and others. These improvements aim to raise Otaxi's performance in line with the best international standards and strengthen Oman's position as an advanced digital economy.

This launch aligns with Oman Vision 2040 and supports national digital transformation efforts. It complements government programs aimed at diversifying the economy and enhancing digital capabilities. Through a stable regulatory environment and supportive strategic initiatives, this partnership offers AI-powered services across various sectors, implemented in coordination with local infrastructure and regulatory systems to ensure alignment with national priorities.

Commenting on the signing, Eng. Saeed bin Abdullah Al Mandhari, CEO of Ithkaa Group, explained: “The acquisition is a pioneering strategy for enhancing business growth and expansion, and it contributes to increasing companies’ market share amidst local and global competition.
