Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates: In a strategic move for the UAE's national manufacturing and food security sectors, the official launch of Al Ain Farms Group was announced through the "Made in UAE 2025" platform. The group brings together five of the country's leading brands in dairy, juice, poultry, and egg production: Al Ain Farms, Marmum Dairy, Al Ajban Poultry, Al Jazeera Poultry Farm (Golden Eggs), and Arabian Farms (SEHA). Backed by the publicly listed Fooda Holding Company, which specializes in the agriculture, food production, and distribution sectors, and Yas Holding, a leading multi-sector investment company based in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain Farms Group builds on decades of operational efficiency to become a leading national platform focused on the production of protein foods and beverages, and looks forward to expanding this to meet the needs of the region.

This historic merger marks a pivotal milestone in its journey, which began in 1981, when the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, established the farm, which began with 200 cows to provide fresh milk to the UAE community. Since its founding to serve the nation, the farm has witnessed continuous growth and development, transforming today into a unified group comprising a select group of trusted Emirati brands, expanding to meet the region's growing demand for high-quality protein beverages and foods.

Today, through this commitment to self-reliance, Al Ain Farms Group has become a key contributor to achieving national food sufficiency, built on deep roots, driven by ambitious goals, and designed to make a tangible impact on a global scale.

His Excellency Tariq Abdul Rahim Al Hosani, Chairman of Al Ain Farms Group, emphasized that the launch of the group represents an important step in the UAE's long-term food security strategy, as defined by both the National Food Security Strategy 2051 and the National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology, which aim to establish the UAE as a regional center for operational excellence and innovation.

His Excellency said: "The Al Ain Farms Group embodies the UAE's ambition to achieve regional leadership in the values of quality, sustainability, and innovation, deeply rooted in our national industry. The project, which was launched with the humanitarian vision of the late founding father, Sheikh Zayed, may God rest his soul in peace, to feed the community, has continued to evolve into a national message of excellence and the highest global standards of quality in the food sector. It advances food security, contributes to our industrial strength, and supports future food systems for generations to come."

For his part, Issa Najeeb Khouri, Deputy CEO of Food Holding and Board Member of Al Ain Farms Group, explained that the new group will take the UAE's food production capabilities to ambitious new heights. He said: "Food Holding's investment in Al Ain Farms Group reflects our confidence in the opportunities in the food sector in the country. We believe in the importance of establishing integrated, future-ready systems that achieve strategic value, and in this context, Al Ain Farms Group is leading this strategy as a promising integrated group."

For her part, Low Ping, CEO of Yas Holding Group, said: “We at Yas Holding are proud to support the formation of Al Ain Farms Group, as part of our unwavering commitment to developing the food manufacturing sector in the UAE. This strategic step embodies our ongoing mission to empower vital industries that provide solutions with a qualitative impact on the UAE community. We are confident that Al Ain Farms Group will lead the way in developing the future of food, not only in the country, but in the region as a whole.”

“This move is not just about growth, it’s about transformation,” said Hassan Safi, CEO of Al Ain Farms Group. “We are combining our scale, trusted brands, and decades of experience to create a stronger, more resilient food group, both in the UAE and abroad. This merger brings together the best of each brand under one unified umbrella, delivering the highest levels of quality and efficiency, establishing better service standards for our customers, and achieving market leadership. Our priority is to make healthy, high-quality nutrition available to every home in the UAE, and then expand that footprint by collaborating with leading partners in integrated production, advanced research and development, and self-operation. In doing so, we are not just responding to demand, but setting a new standard for efficiency, care, and flexibility within the food sector in the region.”

Through this merger, Al Ain Farms Group aims to enhance local production capabilities and strengthen the self-sufficient food system. As part of its ambitious growth strategy, the group unveiled a five-year roadmap focused on improving operations, accelerating product innovation, and expanding its contribution to achieving national food security. Al Ain Farms Group currently holds a significant share of the country's dairy and poultry markets and is focused on strengthening its presence in both categories.

This expansion is coupled with enhanced innovation benefits, as the group invests in developing advanced products, ranging from sugar-free products and excellence in camel milk products to next-generation alternative proteins. The group is also strengthening its leadership in sustainable food production, including recyclable packaging, water recycling, and the promotion of integrated local supply chains that reduce dependence on imports and strengthen food resilience locally and regionally.

With clear ambitions to expand within the region and beyond, Al Ain Farms Group represents a platform proudly made in the UAE, built on a solid infrastructure to become a group that the national industry is proud of. It embodies the UAE's ongoing pursuit of sustainable excellence, providing food systems that meet international standards and elevate the country's position as a leader in food innovation.
