PRESSR: Mercedes-Benz Middle East announces the appointment of Michael Stroband as CEO and President
Mercedes-Benz Cars Middle East has announced the appointment of Michael Stroband as CEO and President, succeeding Martin Schulz, who held the position since February 2021 and led Mercedes-Benz Cars Middle East and the General Distributor Network across the Middle East, Central Europe and Africa. Michael joins the Middle East team with 15 years of experience in retail, marketing, sales, supply chain and production.
As Mercedes-Benz undergoes a strategic transformation towards leadership in electromobility, vehicle software and digital transformation, Michael will continue to build on the customer reputation, expand the digital transformation of the company’s operations, maintain the successes achieved in the luxury segment and enhance the company’s vehicle model range. His responsibilities will also include the Mercedes-Benz General Distribution Network in Central Eastern Europe and Africa for the commercial van segment, where he will focus on developing the customer experience and driving growth and profitability.
Since 2011, Michael has held various leadership positions at Mercedes-Benz and Daimler Trucks, and in his previous position was responsible for product and sales management for Mercedes-Benz Cars in Germany.
