LONDON, July 7 (Reuters) - A Saudi-flagged crude oil tanker was damaged in the vicinity of the Strait of Hormuz near the coast of Oman, maritime security sources said on Tuesday, after another liquefied natural gas tanker was targeted in the same area.
The sources explained that the cause of the incident is not yet clear, and it is believed that the damaged ship is the giant oil tanker "Widian".
