To correct the first paragraph, clarifying that the official television station, not Tehran, obtained the draft, and to change the source in the title.

- Iranian state television said it had obtained an informal draft framework for a memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States to end the conflict.

He added that under this framework, Iran would allow commercial shipping through the Strait of Hormuz to return to pre-war levels within a month, while the United States would withdraw its military forces from the vicinity of Iran and lift the naval blockade imposed on it.

State television said the framework, which excludes military vessels and assumes that Iran will manage ship traffic through the strait in cooperation with Oman, has not yet been finalized, and that Tehran will not take any steps without "concrete confirmation".

He added that if a final agreement is reached within 60 days, a binding resolution from the UN Security Council may be adopted.

The emerging US-Iranian memorandum of understanding stems from indirect talks that began after the war broke out in February, with Pakistan playing the role of key mediator between Tehran and Washington.

The war erupted after a sharp escalation between Iran and Israel earlier this year, with the two sides exchanging missile and drone attacks, disrupting shipping in the Gulf, drawing the United States into military intervention, and raising fears of a wider regional conflict.
