- Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said on Monday that Ankara sees no obstacle to the United States and Iran finding common ground through negotiations, adding that Ankara's priority is to contribute to Pakistani mediation efforts and maintain the ceasefire.

Fidan added at a press conference in Berlin that Turkey wants to see Iran and the United States realize the risks of resuming conflict between them, and indicated that he does not see any fundamental obstacles to Washington and Tehran agreeing on terms related to the Iranian nuclear program, but other issues will affect this decision.

Fidan also said that Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Egypt are also working to end the Iranian war and that Ankara is in contact with all parties, stressing that the priority is to maintain the current ceasefire.

Regarding nuclear issues, Fidan noted that Iran’s highly enriched uranium is currently buried under rubble following the June attacks.
