- Jordan's state grain buyer purchased about 60,000 tonnes of hard milling wheat from optional origins in an international tender on Tuesday, traders said.

  • It is believed that the purchase was made from the trading company (CHS) at a price of $275.20 per ton including cost and shipping , with the shipment to take place in the second half of August.

  • The reports reflect the assessments of traders, and new estimates of prices and volumes are likely to be issued later.

  • Traders reported that other trading companies participated in today's tender, with Cargill offering $279.90 per ton, Ameropa $277.87 per ton, Olam $276.50 per ton, and Dreyfus $280 per ton, all inclusive of cost and freight.

  • Traders expect a new tender to be issued in the coming days targeting the purchase of approximately 120,000 tons of wheat, with a closing date of June 15.

  • The new tender is expected to require shipping during September and October.
