Who is Fatima Al Nuaimi, the new CEO of ADNOC Gas?

Abu Dhabi - Mubasher: The Board of Directors of ADNOC Gas approved, during its last meeting, the resignation of Ahmed Al Abri, the company's CEO, and the appointment of Fatima Al Nuaimi as his successor, effective from January 1, 2025, according to a disclosure to the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange.
In her new role, Fatima Al Nuaimi will implement ADNOC’s gas strategy, which focuses on growth, reducing emissions and improving business, as stated in the company’s strategy update announcement dated November 11, 2024.
Al Naimi has a career with ADNOC and the energy sector spanning more than 25 years, during which she held several leadership and technical positions, the last of which was Executive Vice President of Gas Processing, Refining and Petrochemicals Business Management at ADNOC.
She previously served as CEO of ADNOC LNG from 2019 to 2022, managing ADNOC’s Gas Strategy and Master Planning unit and leading the development of the Gas Master Plan and overseeing its implementation across ADNOC’s operations.
In addition to being a member of the ADNOC Gas Board of Directors, she is a member of the Boards of Directors of ADNOC Offshore and Emirates General Petroleum Corporation (Emarat), and has chaired the Executive Steering Committee of the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) and the Gender Balance Committee at ADNOC since 2016.
Ahmed Al Abri will assume the position of CEO of ADNOC Sour Gas, effective January 1, 2025 .
