Riyadh – Mubasher: The General Ports Authority (Mawani) announced the addition of Milaha Inta Gulf Express, a new shipping service operated by Milaha, to King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam. The service aims to enhance maritime connectivity between the Kingdom and the world and support domestic imports and exports .

In a statement issued on Monday, Mawani clarified that the new shipping service connects King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam with the ports of Umm Qasr in Iraq, Hamad Port in Qatar, Shuwaikh Port in Kuwait, Jebel Ali Port in the UAE, and Sohar Port in Oman, with a capacity of 1,015 standard containers .

The authority added that the launch of the service comes within the framework of "Mawani"'s interest in strengthening its strategic partnerships with major regional and international shipping lines to achieve international leadership, in line with the objectives of the National Strategy for Transport and Logistics Services to consolidate the Kingdom's position as a global logistics center and a hub connecting the three continents .

It is worth noting that King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam is the Kingdom's main port on the Arabian Gulf. It is linked to the dry port in Riyadh by railway, and is a major port through which goods pass from all over the world to the eastern and central regions .
