MP: Iran could enrich uranium to weapons-grade levels if attacked
DUBAI, May 12 (Reuters) - Iran could enrich uranium to 90 percent purity, a level considered weapons-grade, if the country is attacked again, Ebrahim Rezaei, spokesman for the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee in the Iranian parliament, said on Tuesday.
Rezaei wrote on the X platform, "Enrichment to 90 percent may be one of the options available to Iran in the event of another attack. We will discuss this matter in parliament."
